External Evaluation of the „Bewegungskaiser“ initiative

Evaluating Motion 21`s innovative health initiative “Bewegungskaiser”

Holistic health promotion

Since 2010 the “Bewegungskaiser“ initiative aims at motivating children of different age groups, backgrounds and requirements to exercise. Parcours with continually changing child-friendly themes motivate not only to exercise but also to engage with the own fitness and agility. Adults can also test their motor function and sensory perception.

Success through evaluation

The initiative aims to communicate about and effectively support exercise activities - thus scientific evaluation is a necessary quality criterion to ensure this.

With the help of a specially developed questionnaire researchers from St. Pölten UAS gathered comprehensive information in the areas movement, nutrition, use of digital media, health literacy and cognitive performance. This allows long-term inclusion, qualitative promotion of movement and health measures across generations.
