The project “Bewegungs-Champion” conducted by the IMSB - Consult GmbH AUSTRIA / High Performance Center on behalf of the District Health Insurance Fund for Lower Austria aims to improve the physical activity behaviour of six to twelve-year-old pupils in Lower Austria. Therefore, the project offers events for pupils throughout Lower Austria. At numerous stations, participating children experience the joy of physical activities  and, in an age-appropriate pentathlon, their basic sport motoric skills are tested. The finalists of these competitions are announced at a final event. In terms of sustainability, guidelines and materials are offered for pupils, parents and teachers. In addition, school workshops and teacher training courses are offered for participating school classes and teachers. In this way, educators are supported in implementing physical activities in everyday school life.

Evaluating satisfaction, quality, benefit and sustainability 

Concerning the external evaluation for the years 2018 and 2019, researchers from St. Pölten UAS develop questionnaires for the mentioned events, workshops and courses. The questionnaires include the dimensions satisfaction with the event, quality, benefits and sustainability of the same. The statistical evaluation of the online questionnaires and the sport motoric tests was done on the basis of predefined questions and is an integral part of the projetcs' quality control.
