How can public spaces be designed to promote health for young people and adults?

At the moment, intervention and communication for public spaces are often designed individually according to the situation. The project aims to create sustainable intervention and communication structures.

The project addresses the interaction between the groups that shape public space. The plan is to record typical patterns of interaction, to work with those affected to increase cooperation for health-promotion and to contribute to the structural anchoring of these cooperation patterns. The selected health risk actions are the consumption of psychoactive substances - alcohol, illegal drugs and tobacco - and the consequences such as violence.

Aim of the project

The project aims at institutionalising the communication and cooperation between police and social work and involving other professional groups that shape public spaces, in particular media and gastronomy with the aim to address selected health risks
