Research for a Healthy Diet

UAS Researcher Ursula Trübswasser Advocates Sustainable Nutrition Policy

Together with fellow researchers Theres Rathmanner and Barbara Wondrasch, Trübswasser published a study on measures for a sustainable nutrition policy in Austria.

“We see an urgent need to adopt a systemic, participatory approach that promotes various behaviours simultaneously, coherently, and inclusively and is borne by multiple sectors, population groups, and actors in food production using a mix of different instruments”, explains Trübswasser.

She is a Senior Researcher at the St. Pölten UAS’ Institute of Health Sciences. Her main research interests lie in the dietary behaviours of children and adolescents, in food environments, and food systems.
