A database with social media comments on songs and videos by Austrian musicians was set up with the help of the multi-modal database system ArangoDB. The database currently includes over 200,000 comments and tweets on over 4,000 music videos on YouTube and Twitter, and is constantly expanded. The focus of the expansion is on the „buzz“ to songs and videos of Austrian artists on YouTube. Twitter proved to be relatively unimportant for the Austrian music scene.
