Double recognition for our researchers and lecturers
Djordje Slijepcevic and Thomas Delissen were honoured for their outstanding achievements in research and teaching:
Djordje Slijepčević received the Science Future Award for his PhD thesis at TU Wien on gait analysis using machine learning.
His research was conducted at St. Pölten UAS – at the ICMT - Institut für Creative\Media/Technologies and the CDHSI - Center for Digital Health and Social Innovation (UAS St. Pölten) – in collaboration with the AUVA - Allgemeine Unfallversicherungsanstalt and the Orthopädisches Spital Speising. Matthias Zeppelzauer supervised his doctoral work at St. Pölten UAS.
Thomas Delissen was awarded the Prize for Innovative Higher Education Teaching. His “Zombie Room” escape scenario combines data-driven storytelling with hands-on teaching in the Data Intelligence degree programme.
Congratulations to both – a strong testament to the quality of research and teaching at St. Pölten UAS!
