#Citizen Science

Citizen Science Projekte werden unter Mithilfe von interessierten Amateur*innen durchgeführt. Die Citizen Scientists formulieren dabei Forschungsfragen, melden Beobachtungen, führen Messungen durch, werten Daten aus und/oder verfassen Publikationen. Die Einhaltung wissenschaftlicher Kriterien ist Voraussetzung. Dies ermöglicht nicht nur neue wissenschaftliche Projekte und neue Erkenntnisse, sondern ermöglicht auch einen Dialog zwischen Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft.
